Another scarf with matching earrings.

This was an easy one.  Still busy and behind on crochet and jewelry, I needed to get something fun done today.

I used dyed turquoise beads, jet, amethyst, green moss agate beads and lapis lazuli chipped beads with black metal findings.

It was challenging finding colors that matched the scarf.  Immediately, I needed to get a smaller sized jet spacer bead for the bottom.  The round bead proved to be too large and I didn't want it to dominate the earrings.

I had to do the same with the dyed turquoise beads.  The smaller ones worked better for the look I was going for.

At first, I kept the large amethyst and moss agate bead because the colors matched the best.  But then, I ran out of sufficient space and had to get rid of the turquoise all together.  I chose the Dyed Australian green jasper spacers.  See Below.

The color seemed to look better as well.

The end result.....

And the pair together.....

Fall scarf and earrings to match.

My elder kitty wanted to help with my first fall scarf of 2013.  This only took a couple of days and it was a simple quick stitch.

The green and brown combo is one of my favorite fall color fusions.

I used an 8mm hook and will probably use the same hook on the second scarf.

I wanted to make earrings to match.  I found some peridot chipped stones, along with aventurine, jade and tiger's eye chipped beads!

The colors seemed to almost be identical.

The end result with sterling silver findings........

And side by side......

Earrings of the day 10/01/13!

I decided to make more earrings today with sterling silver findings.  With the amount of chipped beads I have, I'll probably string some necklaces soon.

The beads below are carnelian and the cream colored beads are howlite.  I have heard that howlite is a good memory and concentration stone!  Carnelian is a power and confidence stone! It also enhances creativity and memory!

I paired these beads with sterling silver.....sitting in a darker room! I work better in low light.

The end result.....
