Knit projects. Gawd, I am behind on jewelry!

I It's the end of the year and I am out of time for various previous planned projects.  I have finished some things, but I find I am still lagging.  Oh well.   If I still believed in New Years resolutions, I would craft more.   But I am not going to promise that.  Not only I am behind on costumes, jewelry and crochet, I have traveled this month and I have friend coming to town.

I found a betsey purse that matched a knit hat and scarf.  This is pretty exciting for me.

The hat and scarf, another gift........

This blanket was for a bff's mom!  I was happy with the result and I think she liked it.

And a hat..:

Betsey hat that matches purse up close....

This hat was amazing,  inspiration from someone in my crochet meet up group.....

My father took his kids and significant others on vacation to Hawaii.  The big island.  Good times and vibes.  I was very much at home.

The most beautiful shell on th black sand beach.  Someone was still living in there, so he it didn't come home with me.

Crochet projects from the past couple of weeks!

I have been busy crocheting and playing catch up on my yarn projects. I have been using red heart yarn for all of these projects.  Mostly hats and a couple of water bottle holders.   I have a couple of afghans I need to complete and a pillow......there will be more to come.

Comikaze 2015 day 3

I was up earlier than normal due to the time change,   This morning, the group above had a great panel at 10am, Who can be a geek? inclusion in fandom and the geek scene.  This subject as an endless conversation.  It's amazing how many nerds will throw shade and flip out over this subject.  I guess nerd cred is a very real thing.

My friend Teri and I wanted to check out Artist alley, because it was almost impossible on Day 2.

We were exhausted by 1pm, so we sat down for this panel "Cosplay for all sizes".  This mom and daughter team were fun, sweet and had some interesting ideas,  Mom was a seamstress, daughter liked to try anything new!

Last year, I didn't buy a comic!  This year, I did.  He asked about the rest of my turtle crew.....Check out his comics!

And of course, some great cosplay!

Teri as Baymax!  Again, She is a rockstar!

Comikaze 2015 day 2

So my friend Teri and I started our day with the over 30 cosplay Panel.  Great group of people!

Great Carol cosplay!  I love the Walking Dead!

Teri was a rockstar! Looking spectacular in her Ursula costume!

Ursula and Steampunk Vanessa......I wanted to put my own spin on Vanessa......We plan on doing this at Sac Anime this year! This wig was driving me crazy though!

We also wanted to take Baku around for the fun too!

Star Wars action!

I ran into these two lovelies!  Lauren and Sandy!  Sandy runs Under the Stairs entertainment.  Check out the short "Zone 2".

More costumes.....

Vanessa and Ursula again.....

Wig off and water break!

We had a busy busy day!  Everyone loves Ursula!

Hocus Pocus action!

Gotta show some respect to Divine!

All in all, Day 2 was supercrowded and it was hard to hit both dealer's rooms.  Lots of great costumes and high energy!
