Wondercon 2016

This year I went Saturday and Sunday to this big pop culture event.   It seems the same year after year, but it's still amusing for all of the visual stimulation.

The cosplayers and all of the costume mashups make things more interesting.

I dressed up as the Duffman, (duff woman ) and had a great time!

Oak Mountain Winery in Temecula, Ca

A couple of girlfriends and I decided to take a last minute excursion and go to Temecula.  I had a wine tasting voucher for the Oak Mountain Winery! Here is a link to their website! It was such a beautiful day yesterday when we visited!

There was a variety of whites and reds.  This was Diana's introduction to wine tasting.  The White Merlot they sampled wasn't too bad, but we decided to go with the Raspberry Champagne when it came to choosing a bottle.  There were a few red blends that were pretty strong.   A special thanks to Chevy for the small cutting board and knife!

More crochet projects and a 13 dollar Betsey bag!

I have gotten ahead on crochetting and various projects....More will be up soon.  But in the meantime, this Betsey bag was 12.97 at DSW.   Sometimes you can get lucky there and yes, this winter, I did! 

More hats finished.....

This wild scarf is for my friend in Northern California....

Kitty wanted to help and she did....

This yarn was full of sparkles and I had enough for a hat and scarf. 

Same with this thick stuff.....More to come.  I don't have everything posted, but eventually I will.
