Toy shopping and a unique Betsey Bag

Well we are officially nuts! We went to 3 different Toys R Us locations to take advantage of the Kre-o sales! Everything is more than 50% off! I had to take a picture because I couldn't believe how much the Mister bought yesterday!  They were practically giving these sets away! We have all sorts of G.I. Joe Kreons if anyone is interested.  Looks like he will be busy for awhile........

My dad picked up a vintage Barbie from the early 90s.  The hair on this doll is amazing and the dress just takes me back!

Okay, all generations fans need to start poking around at ross! The boxed Generations figures are 9.99. They are normally around 12 to 13 dollars at Ross.

We found two Whirl figures and one Doubledealer.  We have these figures already, but felt we had to liberate ( rescue ) these guys from a destructive kid! Hahahahaha !  If anyone is interested, please let me know.   This Doubledealer figure is an awesome character.

We stopped at a couple of Marshall's stores and I found this Betsey Johnson bag.   I have not seen a bag like this one, but I have seen wallets in this design.  I thought it was super cute!  I love the plaid!

This purse matches this scarf that I am crochetting.

At Ross, the Mister found this Toad lotion or soap pump! Another super cool knick knack!  Ross is the place to go this holiday season.

Another Toys R Us run and more Burlington Coat Factory finds.....

For all of you G1 fans, new generations are coming out.  My husband and I anxiously await a few of these in particular.   I woke up way too late and missed out on the sale at Target.    All of the generations figures are 10 bucks.   However, I did find some figures at TRU and had coupons.

Scoop is very retro!  Love the colors!

I saw skywarp last week and went to TRU just to pick him up.

These were interesting so I threw them in the basket too.  I can wait to get Starcream.  It looks like they had plenty.   They were running out of Skywarp.

Burlington coat factory added a few different sets from what I saw from the last visit.  The beasthunters

Set was the same, but the pieces in that set can be used for something else.  I love how the kreon figures are so versatile.   I really hope Hasbro continues with the Kre-o franchise and come out with the Jem and the holograms sets in the future.

I also went to Michael's and Joann's for yarn.   Now back to my knitting projects.......

Transformer Generations finds of the week!

Austin and I have gotten lucky this week!  We found 4 of the Autobot Wreckers! The only one left we need to get is Top Spin!  At Toys R Us, we found Whirl, Roadbuster, Impactor and Twintist!

All are dropping at Toy R Us locations.  Springer, Blitzwing and Sandstorm are showing up at Targets.  I found Sandstorm today!  YAY!  An awesome triple changer!

The good news?  These Deluxe Generations figures have dropped down in price.  The figures on the cards have gone from 15.99 to 12.99 again.   I guess parents weren't buying them for their kids at 16.00 bucks! The boxed transformers are still around 22.00 dollars at places like Target and Walmart.  They are between 24.00 and 27.00 dollars at other retailers!  Thus, the two toy runs made this week have been pretty rewarding.

Toy Runs on 5.14 & 5.15

Generations toys are hitting all of the close-out stores again!  It's always exciting to find toys that you have been looking for.  Austin and I have been looking for Grimlock for months and we have heard that people have been spotting them at the close-out stores.  Not in our area though.  In fact,  Target, Toys R Us and Walmart have had some slim pickings with the Generations figures.

However, browsing at Target last night, I found four Autobot discs, Rewind, Sunder, Eject and Ranhorn.  We already bought Blaster and this was really unexpected.

They are 9.99 at Target.  I figured, we had better get them now than used at a Bot Con for an outrageous price. So I scored.  People can laugh all they want, it's excited to find a toy that is hard to find that is rumored to be hitting the stores.

After work today, Austin and I decided to visit our local T.J. Maxx and Ross.  It was a bust at Ross, but here is the score we found at T.J. Maxx:

Austin was stoked about the green bricks in the Combat chopper set and it was cool to find another Prowl!  The Kreon will be listed at our Ebay store!  Transformer Kreons always sell!  We use many of these spare bricks for Austin's custom creations.  All in all, it was a good day!
