Earrings of the day 3/7/13

The peridot chipped beads were a little smaller than the citrine beads I had.  These would be great earrings to wear for money and good luck.  Both of these gemstones are money stones.  

I used sterling silver fish hooks and findings because of the delicate aspect to the stones.  Metal plated findings would have looked a bit harsh.

I darken a picture to capture the richness of the color of the stone.   Some of the Citrine stones and beads come in a deeper yellow, but most of them are pale yellow.  

The end result is below.  The lighter picture shows the actual color, but I like the darkened picture.
